The Supreme Council of Resistance strongly condemns the recent terrorist attack in Australia and considers this violent and inhumane act to be in violation of all human, ethical, and international legal principles.
While expressing our deep sympathy with the families of the victims, as well as the people and government of Australia, we extend our condolences and solidarity during these sorrowful moments and wish a swift recovery to those injured in this incident.
The Supreme Council of Resistance firmly emphasizes that any act of terrorism, genocide, or targeting of civilians, regardless of where it occurs, by whom it is carried out, or under what pretext, is strongly condemned. The international community must confront such acts with a unified, responsible, and coordinated approach. At the same time, the spread of Islamophobia must be prevented, especially since the individual who saved lives during this incident was also a Muslim. Therefore, terrorism is an enemy of humanity and has no connection to any religion.
We once again stress the necessity of strengthening international cooperation to combat terrorism and terrorist training centers, and to protect the lives of civilians.
