The Supreme Council of Resistance expresses its profound sorrow and extends its deepest condolences on the martyrdom of Commander Hasib Panjshiri and a number of his devoted comrades to the respected families of the martyrs, the fighters of the National Resistance Front, and the honorable people of Afghanistan.
Commander Hasib Panjshiri was one of the well-known and influential figures of the resistance. The Supreme Council of Resistance believes that throughout Afghanistan’s history, the names of those who, during the most difficult days of this land, placed the defense of the people’s freedom and dignity above their own comfort and lives have always been recorded with honor and pride. Through their sacrifice and devotion, Commander Hasib Panjshiri and his martyred comrades have likewise left behind a legacy of courage, resistance, and loyalty to national ideals a legacy that will serve as a source of inspiration for both present and future generations.
While paying tribute to the honored status of these martyrs, the Supreme Council of Resistance extends its condolences over this great loss to the bereaved families, their comrades, and all the people of Afghanistan. It prays to Almighty God to grant the martyrs of the path of freedom the highest ranks in the hereafter, and to bestow patience, strength, and abundant reward upon their surviving families.
