Moscow Atack

The National Resistance Council for the Salvation of Afghanistan strongly condemns the terrorist attack on a crowd at a concert in Moscow, Russian Federation, which resulted in deaths and injuries of citizens of that country, and expresses its condolences to the government and people of Russia.

Terrorism, as a common enemy of humanity, is a threat to security and stability wherever it occurs, necessitating a collective struggle against this ominous phenomenon.

The National Resistance Council has repeatedly emphasized that after being handed over to the Taliban group, Afghanistan has turned into a center for promoting and exporting terrorism, posing a threat to the security of neighboring, regional and global countries, and its sources must be seriously confronted. It is quite possible that the perpetrators of the recent Moscow attack are also rooted in terrorist centers hosted, supported and equipped by the Taliban group. As currently more than twenty-two terrorist groups are active and supported by the ruling group in Afghanistan, this could pose a serious potential security threat that requires a joint struggle.

The National Resistance Council, committed to combating terrorism and extremism, condemns the bloody Moscow incident, the published images of which are highly shocking, as a savage attack, and emphasizes comprehensive and aligned confrontation against terrorism. The Council also shares in mourning the victims of this incident.
