The National Assembly for the Salvation of Afghanistan is deeply concerned about the growing military tensions in the Middle East, particularly the recent attacks on the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran. We consider any military action that results in civilian casualties, disrupts regional peace, and violates the sovereignty of countries to be clearly alarming, and we condemn it.
As a result of the recent attacks, a number of innocent civilians and military personnel in Iran have been killed and injured. The National Assembly expresses its condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims and wishes a full and speedy recovery to the injured.
The National Assembly for the Salvation of Afghanistan believes that the continuation of military and security crises in the region will only lead to greater instability, pose a threat to global peace, and cause further suffering to nations. We call on all involved parties to exercise restraint, avoid further violence, and pursue peaceful solutions, negotiations, diplomacy, and approaches based on international law.
We also urge the United Nations and other responsible international institutions to play a more active role in preventing the escalation of conflicts and to make serious and impartial efforts to preserve peace, security, and stability in the region.
The National Assembly firmly believes that all nations deserve to live in peace, dignity, and tranquility, and that disputes must be resolved not through war, but through dialogue and mutual respect.
Respectfully,
The National Assembly for the Salvation of Afghanistan
