With deep sorrow and grave concern, we strongly condemn the wounding of Haji Karamuddin Rezazadeh, former Deputy Governor of Ghor Province and member of the Supreme Council of National Resistance for the Salvation of Afghanistan, as a result of a violent and terrorist act carried out by armed individuals in the city of Karaj, Islamic Republic of Iran. This criminal act is in clear violation of all human, legal, and moral principles and constitutes a serious threat to the security and peace of citizens.
While firmly condemning this inhumane and terrorist act, we express our sincere sympathy to his family and close relatives and pray for the swift recovery and full health of Haji Karamuddin Rezazadeh.
We also call upon the security institutions of the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran to take the necessary measures—through enhanced cooperation and the adoption of effective and preventive actions—to ensure and strengthen the security of residents, particularly military personnel and employees of the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan residing in that country.
We are confident that the sincere and continuous cooperation of the responsible institutions can play an effective role in preventing the recurrence of such unfortunate incidents and contribute to strengthening security and mutual trust.
