The Supreme Council of National Resistance for the Salvation of Afghanistan strongly condemns the terrorist drone attack carried out from Afghanistan territory against the Republic of Tajikistan. The terrorist attack in the Shamsuddin Shahin area of Khatlon Province, which unfortunately resulted in the death of three Chinese citizens, is a criminal act, contrary to human principles and international obligations, and is absolutely reprehensible. The Council expresses its deep condolences to the families of the victims.
The fundamental and unchanging position of the High Council of Resistance is the firm condemnation of all forms and manifestations of terrorism. We emphasize the need to strengthen joint cooperation with regional and international countries in preventing, combating, and eliminating the foundations that enable the growth and expansion of terrorism.
The National High Council of Resistance has repeatedly warned the international community about its deep concerns regarding terrorist attacks organized from Afghan soil and the explicit and covert support of the tyrannical Taliban group for terrorist networks. The continuation of this dangerous approach by the Taliban has directly exposed the security of neighboring countries, the region, and the world to serious threats.
