Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un (We surely belong to Allah and to Him we shall return).
The National Resistance Council for the Salvation of Afghanistan expresses its deep condolences and sympathy to the leadership, government, and people of the brotherly and neighboring country, the Islamic Republic of Iran, in connection with the helicopter crash that led to the martyrdom of His Eminence Ayatollah Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, His Excellency Mr. Hossein Amirabdollahian, the respected Foreign Minister, Ayatollah Seyyed Mohammad Ali Al Hashem, the esteemed Imam of Friday of Tabriz, and their companions. We pray to Almighty God to grant high ranks to the President and his companions and to bestow patience and great reward to the government and people of Iran and the noble families of the martyrs.
Undoubtedly, Mr. Raisi, the respected President, and Mr. Amirabdollahian, who were key figures and servants of the Islamic Republic of Iran, have left at a critical time in the history of Iran and the world, creating a significant and irreplaceable void. However, with the wisdom and vigilance that exists in Iran, the challenges that have arisen will be overcome, and the country will continue to prosper and grow.
The people of Afghanistan and Iran have shared in each other’s joys and sorrows throughout history, and without a doubt, this tragic event affects not only the Iranian nation but also deeply impacts and grieves the people of Afghanistan.
Once again, with hearts filled with sorrow, the National Resistance Council extends its condolences to the Supreme Leader, the government, and the honorable people of the brotherly and neighboring Islamic Republic of Iran, and the noble families of the martyrs. We wish divine bliss for the martyrs and endurance and resilience for the nation and government of Iran.
