The Supreme Council of National Resistance extends its congratulations and best wishes on the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan the month of the revelation of the Qur’an, deepening of moral responsibility, and the strengthening of the collective will of the Islamic Ummah , to Muslim nations, all those observing the fast, and especially to the honorable people of Afghanistan.
The month of Ramadan, in addition to its elevated spiritual and devotional status, is a symbol of the awakening of consciences, the revival of justice-centered values, and a reminder of the historic responsibility of nations in the face of oppression, occupation, discrimination, and the continuous violation of human rights. This month represents a strategic opportunity to reconsider the path toward achieving freedom, independence, and the dignity of nations, and to strengthen solidarity in the face of hegemonic and tension-creating policies.
The Supreme Council of Resistance emphasizes that the teachings of the holy month of Ramadan can provide an ethical and political framework for strengthening internal cohesion, enhancing public awareness, and consolidating the legitimate resistance of nations within the framework of international law and the fundamental right of self-defense. Under the current complex and sensitive circumstances, adherence to justice, a just peace, and respect for the will of nations are unavoidable necessities for sustainable regional and international stability.
While wishing acceptance of prayers and acts of worship, the Council expresses hope that the blessed month of Ramadan will mark the beginning of political openings, the reduction of the suffering of oppressed nations, and the strengthening of the position of truth, justice, and human dignity in regional and global affairs, as well as in our beloved country, Afghanistan.
