Multiculturalism and ethnic and linguistic diversity in Afghanistan is one of the prominent features that its citizens respect the values of this diversity and in the sequence of history, this multiculturalism and ethnic plurality have turned into social tissues that can be considered as a factor of stability and empathy of our people.
As one of the ethnic groups with a brilliant historical background, the Turkmens have a great reputation in the field of knowledge and techniques as well as in wisdom and governance. Although these noble people have been disrespected and persecuted by despotic rulers in different historical periods, they have never bowed down to protect justice.
However, in the past two years, after the illegitimate and oppressive Taliban took control of Afghanistan, the cultural values and identity of the ethnic groups are no longer important, and this group has continuously tried to eliminate ethnic, political and religious groups, the results of which, unfortunately, will seriously harm the future of Afghanistan. .
The National Council of Resistance for the Salvation of Afghanistan, while celebrating the National Day of Turkmen Language, also states that speaking and teaching in the mother tongue is one of the basic rights of the country’s citizens, which must be respected. We are happy that a group of speakers of the sweet Turkmen language are present at the leadership levels of the National Resistance Council and thus part of their rights have been secured by this council.
