Message of the National Resistance Council for the Salvation of Afghanistan on the Passing of General Staff Major General Abdul Rauf Begi, a Senior General and Co-Founder of Hizb-e Junbish-e Milli Islami Afghanistan To Him we shall return. The National Resistance Council for the Salvation of Afghanistan extends its condolences to the esteemed family of Major General Abdul Rauf Begi, a senior general, and to the people of Afghanistan. Major General Abdul Rauf Begi, a learned, skilled, and knowledgeable military leader, served in various positions from soldier to corps commander, Deputy Minister of National Defense, and Deputy Head of the Northern Military Council. Throughout his years of service, honesty and composure were among his prominent traits. He not only excelled in the field of combat but was also a well-informed and capable writer who documented the country’s events in his works. General Begi was also a co-founder of Hizb-e Junbish-e Milli Islami, known for his patience and moderation in politics alongside his adherence to ethics. He was a major asset to our land and people, whose absence is an irreplaceable loss. The National Resistance Council expresses its deep condolences to the family and relatives of the late Major General Abdul Rauf Begi. While appreciating his remarkable legacy, we wish peace for his soul and honor his memory.

Message from the National Resistance Council for the Salvation of Afghanistan on the Third Anniversary of the Martyrdom of Commander Piram Qul Ziai, a Senior Commander of Jamiat-e Islami and Former Deputy of Hizb-e Junbish-e Milli Islami In the name of the Almighty God, The National Resistance Council for the Salvation of Afghanistan commemorates the third anniversary of the martyrdom of Commander Piram Qul Ziai, a senior commander of jihad and resistance, offering condolences, celebrating his memory, and wishing peace for his soul. From the dawn of the sacred jihad, Commander Piram Qul Ziai engaged in the struggle for Afghanistan and devotedly fulfilled his duties with great sacrifice and effort. From that beginning through the resistance period, he fought valiantly and bravely against the enemies of the Afghan people. He was a courageous, steadfast, and self-sacrificing mujahid who spared no effort in defending his homeland and its people. Mr. Ziai also exerted considerable effort representing his people in the National Council and played a significant role in the political arena, both as a distinguished senior commander in Jamiat-e Islami of Afghanistan and as a deputy in Hizb-e Junbish-e Milli Islami. In the days leading up to the handover of the country to the Taliban, he stood firm in the fight against the Taliban and sacrificed his life in defense of his people and homeland, a legacy that our history and people will never forget. Once again, while commemorating his endeavors, struggles, and sacrifices, we celebrate his memory and express our condolences to the mujahideen, the resistance fighters, and his esteemed family.
